Here’s the detail that can save a buyer time: the home’s address matters. This County program covers unincorporated Pinellas and eligible cities. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Largo have their own assistance programs, so a home in one of those cities needs a different program review. Pinellas County
The County also requires the home to be a primary residence, sets income and purchase-price limits, and requires homebuyer education and counseling. The buyer’s first mortgage lender submits the assistance application. The loan’s repayment terms matter too, so we should review them alongside the first mortgage before making an offer.
